We’re looking for a Human Resources Processing Specialist to join our team and report directly to the HR Operations Supervisor. In this role, you will manage critical transactional processes related to employee system access and electronic record-keeping, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all HR operations.
This is a hybrid role with some on-site days in our Mooresville, NC office.
Essential Functions of Position
Create, update, and maintain employee records in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
Order and review employment-related testing, including background checks, drug testing, fingerprinting, and OIG reviews.
Request and track employee renewable items to ensure timely compliance.
Communicate record-keeping non-compliance issues to the HR Generalist (HRG) team.
Collect and process time-sensitive data from multiple sources accurately.
Follow established written processes and maintain confidentiality in all work.
Adapt to evolving business needs while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
Highly organized, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Proficient with multiple online and computer-based applications.
Strong understanding of HR data processing best practices.
Education/Experience
Associate’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3–5 years of data processing experience, preferably in an HR environment.
Training/Equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Experience entering data into HR or Payroll systems.
Experience with Ceridian is a plus, but not required.
