As a Director of HR Technology, You Will:
Manage the HRIS team, ensuring high-quality, stable day-to-day operations and strong customer satisfaction
Lead the development and design of an HR technology vision, strategy, and implementation path aligned with company priorities
Develop and execute strategy to maintain and expand the HR application ecosystem, architectural design, and data integrations in compliance with security standards and business initiatives
Ensure timely delivery of HRIS solutions by overseeing operations, projects, and vendor engagements
Serve as the primary HRIS contact for cross-functional or enterprise-wide initiatives, acting as project manager, developer, or consultant as needed
Oversee vendor relationships and support escalations while managing collaborative partnerships with IT, SQL, Identity Access Management, and engineering teams
Mentor and provide escalated support to HRIS team members across projects, incidents, and stakeholder management
Review and approve major change management requests to ensure adherence to design principles, risk mitigation, and communication best practices
Collaborate with HRIS team to standardize and improve policies, procedures, incident, and project management processes
Assist in developing KPIs, training plans, and professional growth opportunities for HRIS team members
Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Computer Science, or related field
At least four (4) years of experience in technical systems administration, help desk, or similar role with HRIS, Payroll, or eLearning systems
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead and motivate geographically dispersed technical teams
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong organizational skills; able to work independently and collaboratively
Clear communicator with field, mid-level, and executive staff as well as vendors
Demonstrated tact, diplomacy, and professional judgment
Skilled problem-solver with effective resolution skills
Comfortable with multiple online and computer applications
Working knowledge of payroll-related federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Highly detail- and deadline-oriented with strong prioritization and multitasking skills
Ability to follow written processes and adapt to changing business needs
Experience implementing and integrating configurable HR or Payroll systems
Strong understanding of HRIS database design and database management tools
Broad knowledge of HRIS processes and project implementation
