Overview

This is a hybrid Remote/Travel position.  Expected travel at times up to 50% to any of our nationwide locations.

 

We are looking for a Manager of Clinical Process and Implementation - RN to join our team and report directly to the DVP Patient Experience and Operational Excellence. This role is responsible for managing and leading enterprise-wide multi-interdisciplinary improvement and standardization projects and programs aimed at developing innovative, evidence based, patient and employee centric care processes and practices to transform culture and improve the safety and quality of patient care. Collaborates with leadership at regional and divisional levels in the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, patient-centered quality improvement activities. Analyzes data while fulfilling documentation and reporting requirements for projects and process improvements. This position is cross-functional and adapts to ever-changing corporate and patient demands. This position will collaborate with regional leadership in the support of system and process implementations and other improvements.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Serve as a mentor, coach, preceptor, and liaison for process improvement efforts integral to patient care. 

  • Oversee and manage implementations of departmental projects, ultimately promoting enhanced patient outcomes. 

  • Drive clinical technology implementation and sustainability frameworks. 

  • Takes a proactive approach to improving department workflow and identifying solutions while being mindful of organizational mission, vision, and values.

  • Make recommendations to leadership on how to best implement new processes and technology enhancements across the care continuum 

  • Applies principles of patient safety, high reliability, performance improvement and human factors to manage and lead cultural transformation and standardization programs across clinical disciplines to meet the goals of Clinical Excellence 

  • Research evidence-based best clinical practices, existing workflows, and innovative technology enablers to assist clinical performance improvement teams develop future care practices.

  • Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts and leadership to manage, design, problem solve and complete transformational program implementations 

  • Communicates and implements new processes, practices and technology utilizing principles of change management and high reliability to include acceptance of processes by end users and on-going support to sustain.

  • Manages smooth handoff of completed improvement initiatives to operational owners and follows up to ensure adoption.  Uses metrics to assess if additional improvements and/or training is required. 

  • Develops educational materials to support transformational change and include practices and processes in daily operations.

  • Collaborates with compliance, regulatory and regional leadership to implement systems to ensure that services conform to regulatory

  • Educates and trains the leadership, staff and business associates on systems, processes and policies and their respective responsibilities in carrying out the implementation of such. 

  • Support clinical leadership in survey support to assess opportunities for improvement and drive quality improvement outcomes 

  • Collects and summarizes performance data, partners with regional team to identify opportunities for improvement 

 

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize continuous improvement strategies and choose how best to narrow “quality gaps” for clinical programs and implementations 

  • Proven ability to achieve results.  

  • Ability to examine quality versus cost of programs/services and support ROI analyses 

  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse group of staff, both internal and external to the organization

  • Proven track record leading improvement projects across multiple departments

  • Strong data analytics, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Works well across departments to instill a culture of improvement

  • Possess knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies and ability to apply these tools for timely implementation of projects and outcomes

  • Strong group facilitation skills

  • Ability to adopt a systematic approach to process improvement  

About You

  • RN Clinical License
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing or other clinical discipline; master’s degree preferred 

  • 3-5 years operations management and process improvement  

  • Strong project management experience with ability to drive clinical processes, technology implementations, and sustainability frameworks 

  • Ability to prioritize continuous improvement strategies and choose how best to narrow “quality gaps” for clinical programs and project implementations 

  • Proven track record leading and sustaining improvement initiatives across multiple departments and producing outcomes

  • Strong data analytics, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Possess knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies with ability to apply these tools for timely implementation of projects and outcomes

  • Strong group facilitation skills

  • Ability to adopt a systematic approach to process improvement 

  • Ability to examine quality versus cost of programs/services and support ROI analyses 



We Offer

Compensation may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications and department equity.  Gentiva provides associates with a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package, of which base pay is just one piece.

 

Salary Range – $100,000 to 110,000, plus Annual Bonus Potential of 10%
