Overview

We’re adding a Hospice Recruiter to join our team. This position will directly report to the Manager of Talent Acquisition and is responsible for completing the front-end recruitment life cycle and compliance processes for the hospice division according to the company’s policies and procedures. As a part of this team, you will be solely responsible for reviewing all resumes and screening all applicants for all open positions within your assigned area/territory.

 

This is a work from home position. To support operational needs and business hours, candidates should reside in these states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Tennessee, or Texas.

 

 

Essential Functions of Position

  • Manage 45-80 hospice openings.
  • Initiate and host an intake call with Hiring Manager to define the role requirements, communicate recruitment strategy and defining who will be a part of the interview process.
  • Determine and execute sourcing strategies to drive a solid candidate flow.
  • Develop and maintain a ready pool of candidates by effectively using recruitment technology (i.e., email blasts, text campaigns), cold calling, networking, hosting recruitment event, dropping direct mail pieces, database mining and building relationships in the community.
  • Review resumes to determine applicant qualifications for all positions in an assigned area/territory.
  • Phone interview qualified applicants utilizing standard company interview screen forms and provide potential applicants with organization information, opportunities, and benefits information. Documenting interview notes and uploading to ATS.
  • Schedule interviews on hiring manager’s calendar. Invite will include resume, interview notes and legal application (if completed at time of interview being scheduled).
  • Ensure hiring managers are making offers on the spot to qualified applicants for patient facing roles.
  • Provide support and guidance to hiring managers related to candidate experience, offer negotiation, process improvement and process efficiency.
  • Provide weekly update via email on openings, recruitment activities and candidates in process to hiring manager and area/regional leaders.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with managers to provide status of recruitment efforts, confirm business needs, and determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Proactively work with hiring managers to determine future staffing needs.
  • Track and disposition applicants in Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

About You

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Professional judgment when reviewing resumes to determine who to move forward in the interview process.
  • Professional judgement and strong decision-making skills to determine when to execute recruitment strategies.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing staffing needs
  • Ability to communicate clearly to field, mid-level, and executive staff
  • Well organized and confident to work independently but is a team player
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong knowledge and ability with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel (including macros and formulas), Outlook and other applicable software
  • Strong customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with confidential information

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in front end full life cycle recruiting managing 45-80 openings preferably in a healthcare environment
  • A proven track record of being a top performer in a metrics driven environment
  • Proficient in recruiting technology (i.e., Boolean searches) and tools (i.e., Indeed, LinkedIn, texting software)
  • Strong ability to build relationships with senior leaders
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Training/Equipment:

  • Strong knowledge and ability with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel (including macros and formulas), Outlook and other applicable software
