Nurse Preceptor - Travel

We are looking for a Nurse Preceptor to join our team. This position reports to the AVPO and is responsible for providing high interaction with patients as well as new hire clinicians during hospice visits.

• Facilitates the learning experience to allow preceptees to perform competently in their required responsibilities. This is achieved through mentoring, coaching, and role modeling correct behaviors.
• Performs patient home visits in accordance with physicians’ orders.
• Orients new nurses (preceptees) which includes hospice clinical policies and procedures, documentation, technology, compliance and regulatory requirements
• Travel required

The Preceptor will be covering the following states/cities: 

Tulsa, Oklahoma is the primary location.  The secondary locations/branches in Oklahoma and Kansas are Parsons, Pittsburg, McAlester, OK Muskogee, OK, Shawnee, OK, and OKC, OK

For Texas, the RN Preceptor will cover Abilene, Amarillo, Lubbock, San Angelo, Midland, Brownwood, Mineral Wells, and Wichita Falls areas.

- Licensed or compact license for Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas

• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting
• Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Unencumbered RN license in work state assigned
