Overview

We are looking for a Palliative Revenue Cycle Authorization Specialist to join our team. This position will directly report to the Regional Director of Palliative Operations and is responsible for supporting the division's day-to-day processes and operations.

  • Oversees the Revenue Cycle and Authorization process managed by the third-party Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) vendor.
  • Performs periodic reviews of medical records and documentation related to Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care claims.
  • Maintains and distributes tracking logs and spreadsheets related to claims processing and prior authorizations.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree finance, healthcare administration, business, or related degree
  • Minimum two years of Medicare Part B billing experience required.
  • Expertise in revenue cycle as it related to medical billing including eligibility, prior authorizations, billing, cash posting and collections.
  • Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office suite and Electronic Medical Records systems (E-Clinical Works preferred).
  • Knowledge of palliative care
  • Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel
